Fried Mihun


Fried Mihun

Ingredients :
  • 1 onion
  • 3-4 cloves garlic
  • 1 egg, lightly beaten
  • Mihun, soak in warm water for 30 minutes
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/2 cup minced meat (or any type as preferred, slice it thin)
  • Lettuce & carrots - chop & shred (or any choice as preferred)
  • Seasoning : soy sauce, oyster sauce, dark caramel sauce (or dark soy sauce), salt & pepper, amount as preferred
Directions:
  1. Sauteed onion until fragrant, add in chopped garlic, don't burn the garlic. 
  2. Next, add in meat & stir fry for another 3 minutes. Put in the egg & scramble it.
  3. Put in the mihun, put 1/2 cup of water, & season with soy sauce, oyster sauce, & salt & pepper. Let it simmer for a while (depend on how wet u prefer it to be). 
  4. Add dark soy sauce (you may use dark caramel sauce) if you like the mihun to be darker in color (I know I do).
  5. When the mihun is almost done, dump in the veggies & stir fry for another minute, then serve.
