Mummy, the Walking Dead

Have you heard about baby's growth spurt? Or teething pain?

These 2 would happen numerous time (I lost count) throughout their first year of life (or beyond).

Whenever my baby is unreasonably cranky, frustrated, & is difficult to sooth, & there are no symptoms of illness whatsoever, I blame it all on growth spurt & teething.

I barely had a few hours of sleep for the past few days. It feels like my baby has been constantly nursing all night long.

At times, I thought he might have fallen asleep simply because his suckle movement slowed down, but I regretted almost instantly once I attempted to "sneak" away from him. He would start to cry on top of his lung as if someone snatched his favorite toy away (not that he has one). Quickly, I have to shove his human boobie pacifier to his mouth before he wakes everyone up.

I've been like a zombie for a while now, some lucky parents are blessed with baby that could already sleeping through the night from very young age, but that didn't happen to me. Nevertheless, I'm still being hopeful & keeping my fingers tightly crossed, praying for that day where my baby can magically be sleeping through the night to finally arrive.

I just hope it won't be too long til I turned to the walking dead eh!

Baby says : "Aah, mummy is going to fall asleep again, I have to keep her awake so she won't be feeling alone! It's tough to be a baby!"
