Spicy Tuna Puff in Rose Petals Shape

Spicy Tuna Puff in Rose Petals Shape

My area is experiencing water cut today, so I was unable to cook anything that involves a lot of water or pots, because then I won't be able to wash them & my basin would be mountain full & my kitchen would stinks. But, I really wanted to make myself some quick snack & I thought about making this spicy tuna puff, it's quick & easy, I have the store bought puff pastry sitting in my freezer, it saves me time to make it from scratch, how convenient. And, since my baby was napping, so I have a little more time to make them into a rose petals shape, not only they look better visually, they also seem to taste better, haha, it's all about the visual effect.

The ingredients that you will need : puff pastry, egg, tuna (any filling of your choice), (optional) toasted sesame seeds, & dried parsley.

Make a cut at every corner of the pastry sheets.

Scoop about 1 1/2 teaspoon of filling & place in the middle of the pastry sheet.

Wrap the filling with the sheets, from left to right. (Please pardon the oil that oozed out from the chili tuna, it was totally unintentional :p)

Repeat for the other side. & you'll get a rose petal shape.

Brush the puff with the egg.

Sprinkle some toasted sesame seeds & dried parsley on the puff.
Send into the preheated oven & bake for 15-18 minutes, until the puffs turn golden brown color.

Enjoy!
