It is possible to enjoy your cupcakes the savory style. Today I made a batch of savory cupcakes with my most favorite ever ingredient, what other than bacon?
These bacon cupcakes taste heavenly, I have them for my breakfast & tea time. They're quick & easy to be made, & you don't have to use a electric mixer to make them.
Step-by-Step Cooking Tutorials :
The ingredients you'll need : all-purpose flour, sugar, salt, baking powder, milk, grated cheese, mixed herbs, butter, & egg |
Not to forget, you'll also need bacon. |
Pan-fry the bacon until crispy, transfer to paper towel to drain, reserve some & chopped to tiny bits. |
Sift together the flour, baking powder, salt, & sugar in a large bowl. |
In another small bowl, beat the egg with a fork, then stir in milk & butter/ vegetable oil. (I mixed in the bacon grease, I simply love the flavor very much) |
Mix the wet mixture together with the flour mixture, together with the crispy bacon & mixed herbs. |
Gently fold the mixture together until they're well combined. DO NOT over-mixed. Give the stir a maximum of 26 strokes. The batter will be moist & lumpy. |
Pour the batter into individual muffin cups. |
Top with grated cheese. |
& sprinkle with bacon bits. |
Bake in the preheated oven for 18-20 minutes, or until a skewer comes out clean in the center of the cupcakes. |
