Little Italy, Kota Kinabalu

I was told so much about this restaurant.

Yvonne has visited Kota Kinabalu 1 or 2 times prior to this however she didn't have the chance to enjoy dining here. She told me a lot of good reviews about this restaurant. I've also heard that you haven't been to Kota Kinabalu if you haven't dine in Little Italy before.

So, we came here for dinner on our first night in Kota Kinabalu. It was around 7.30pm, the peak period where people normally have their dinner. There was a long queue ahead of us. Hmm, seriously, on a normal occasion, I may have turn around & look for another diner instead. With 2 easily cranky boys it is challenging to wait patiently in line.

Mango Juice & Lemonade

Fortunately, it didn't take them too long to serve us. I admire the way they work, fast & efficient.

Ravioli Combo x 3 [Beef Bolognese / Spinach Quattro Formagi/ Mushroom Panna E Funghi]

This is an authentic Italian restaurant, we browse through the menu & saw a lot of familiar food, spaghetti carbonara, bolognese, a varieties of pizzas, so fret not, you would certainly know how & what to order.

Pizza Carnivora

Pizza Hawaiana
Spaghetti Carbonara Light

We've ordered some pizzas, spaghetti, ravioli & shared among us, so we got to taste a little bit of everything.

The food were surprisingly delicious, I didn't have a culture shock eating them, perhaps I'm originally a western food lover, or perhaps they have blended in some local preferred flavor in it?

Sal. Casereccia

Spaghetti Al Nero di Sepia [Squid Ink Spaghetti]
However we didn't order any desserts, by the time we finished the food we were too full to have anymore things stuff down our throat.

The usual mess, but he had fun & mummy got to eat in peace.

Yummy squid ink pasta.

Mummy, look at my funny mouth!

Look, my boys enjoyed them too.
