Chinese New Year Cookies - Oil-Fried Crabsticks with Herbs & Spices ~ 油炸香料蟹柳

Here is another recipe of the traditional oil-fried crabstick, I did a little experiment of adding herbs & spices with curry leaves as I fry along & they taste surprisingly good & addictive.

If you prefer to have it fried in a healthier method, head on here for an oil-less crispy crabstick recipe.

~ Step-by-Step Tutorial ~

Mix the peeled crabsticks with the herbs & spices.

Combine well.

Heat up the oil in the wok on medium heat.
Fry the crabsticks until crispy, put in curry leaves while the crabsticks are frying in the wok.

Dish up & store in an air-tight container. Enjoy!
