Dark Chocolate Cake

I have baked this chocolate cake using the same recipe for a few times & I really like it, it's rich & full of dark chocolate flavor & is not overly sweet at all.

The steps of baking the cake is simple & easy, but I took longer than it was stated in the original recipe to get the cake fully cooked. So, do try it out on your oven beginning with baking for 50 minutes, check the cake with a skewer to see if it's fully cooked, if it doesn't just add more baking time to it.

Enjoy!!

* Step-by-Step Tutorial *

Melt the dark chocolate over the double boiler/ microwave, set aside to cool.

Place the butter & sugar in a mixing bowl.
Beat on medium speed until light & fluffy.

Add in egg 1 by 1.

Make sure they're well combined after each addition.

Pour in the melted chocolate.

Beat on low speed to combine.

Add in milk & flour alternatively, by 3 batches.

Scrap off the sides of bowl to make sure the batter is well combined.

Pour the batter into the prepared baking tin, & bake in the preheated oven for 90 minutes.

The cake is cooked when a skewer inserted in the middle of the cake comes out clean.
Let it cool in the tin for 5-10 minutes before removing the parchment paper.

Let the cake cool completely before decorating it.

Spread the ganache on the cake & decorate the cake as desired.

Enjoy!!!
