Long Bean Rice ~ with Roast Pork & Chinse Sausage

This is one of my favorite dish to cook, the steps may sound tedious but actually they're easier that it looks like. It's flavorful & fragrant, it is definitely one of the warm homecooked food that would warm your heart.

~ Step-by-Step Tutorial ~

Firstly, prepare the roast pork.
Place a little oil & garlic in the heated wok, fry until it's aromatic & fragrant, do not browned.

Add in the roast pork & give it a quick toss on high heat. The roast pork would release more oil. Add in the soy sauce & sugar, they're ready once the roast pork is browned & caramelized.

Dish up & set aside.

Then prepare the long bean mixture, I didn't clean my wok, I like the flavor to stay.
Fry the onions until soft & slightly browned.

Then add in the dried shrimp, Chinese sausage & long bean.

Add in the seasoning & give the mixture a quick toss. Dish up & set aside.

Now prepare for the rice, you can do this last step in the rice cooker itself.Place a little oil & garlic in the heated wok, fry until it's aromatic & fragrant, do not browned.

Add in the rice & seasoning & give it a good stir so that all are combined.

Transfer the rice to the rice cooker with the water & press the "Cook" button.

When the rice cooker button switch to "Keep Warm", add in the roast pork & long bean mixture & press the "Cook" button again.

When the rice cooker button switches to "Keep Warm", toss the rice, roast pork & long bean mixture, until well combined.

Dish up & serve. Enjoy!!!!
