Hokkaido Bread ~ with Sesame, Pumpkin & Sunflower Seeds

After much consideration, I've finally gotten myself a breadmaker.

I didn't wait too long til I finally produce my very first bread with it.

It was so easy to make, literally just dump all the ingredients inside & press a few buttons, then you will be able to enjoy your freshly baked homemade bread in a few hours time.

Sounds very good right? They're homemade, & homemade also means healthier & better. ;)

I've gotten this failed proof bread recipe from a group I joined on Facebook.

Indeed, it's failed proof, the bread came out really soft, light, & fluffy, it definitely tastes so much better than the commercial bread that we buy outside.

I've also later bake a Milo Bread using the same recipe with a little tweak on the ingredients used, it tastes so good too!

Hokkaido Bread ~ with Sesame, Pumpkin & Sunflower Seeds

Ingredients :
125gm milk (fresh/ full cream/ low fat/ your choice)
75gm whipped cream
1 egg
270gm high protein flour
30gm cake flour
15gm milk powder (I omitted this)
1/2 cup sunflower seeds
1/2 cup sesame seeds
1/2 cup pumpkin seeds
40gm sugar (brown/ castor), on the right
4gm salt, on the left
5gm instant yeas, dig a well in the middle

Directions :
  1. Place all the ingredients in the breadmaker according to the sequence stated above.
  2. I omitted milk powder because I didn't have it at home & it tastes equally good.
  3. Place the sugar on the right side while the salt on the left, for the yeast, please dig a well in the middle of the flour & place in it.
  4. Settings:
       (i) Bake mode : "Sweet"
      (ii) Loaf size : "Big"
(iii) Crust : "Light OR Medium" (depending how dark & crispy
you would like it to be)
