Air Fryer ~ Garlic Miso Cod Fish

I fell in love with cooking with my air-fryer these recently, because it is easy, quick, convenient, & the cleaning process is also less tedious, I really like my air-fryer.

So should you! ;)

I have seen some really yummilicious air-fryer fish recipes shared by a few friends who are very good in cooking, & I thought I should try one out too, so I air-fried my first ever fish in the air-fryer with one of my favorite fish - black cod.

Once again, the air-fryer didn't fail to impress me & I love how the fish turned out to be, moist & juicy in the inside, but crispy on the skin, it didn't take long to cook as well.

And yes, you can also attempt this recipe by using the oven, perhaps give a little adjustment on the temperature & the cooking time, I'm sure it would taste equally good too.

Air Fryer ~Garlic Miso Cod Fish

Ingredients :
1-2 slice of cod fish, steak/ fillet cut
2 tablespoons miso

2 tablespoons brown sugar
1 tablespoon finely chopped garlic, divided

Directions :
  1. Marinate the cod fish with miso, brown sugar, & 3/4 tablespoon of chopped garlic in a ziplock bag or container for 15 minutes, you can also marinate it overnight in the fridge.
  2. Pre-heat the air-fryer at 200C for 2 minutes.
  3. Lower down the air-fryer to 180C, & place the cod fish laying flat to each other in the air-fryer. Air-fry for 10 minutes.
  4. Sprinkle the remaining 1/4 tablespoon of garlic on top of the cod fish, lower down the temperature to 160C & air-fry for another 10 minutes.
  5. Enjoy!!
