Air-Fryer / Oven Baked Honey Chicken Wings

I've been using my air-fryer quite a lot recently, here's another simple recipe that I would like to share, you can use the same recipe & choose to be oven baked also.

This is a simple recipe, & even the ingredients for recipe are very simple too, you'll definitely have these in your kitchen. This is a similar marination recipe that I've used for my  Oven Baked Honey Chicken Chop, which I would also try to air-fry it one day.

Air-Fryer / Oven Baked Honey Chicken Wings

Ingredients :
♥ 8 chicken wings

2 tablespoons light soy sauce
2 tablespoons honey
2 tablespoons oyster sauce
2 teaspoons sesame oil
Dash of pepper

Directions :
  1. Marinate the chicken wings with all the stated ingredients for at least 30 minutes, or overnight in the fridge.
 - Method (1) - Air-Fryer -
  1. Pre-heat the air-fryer at 200C for 2 minutes.
  2. Place the chicken wings in the air-fryer basket next to each other, do not overlap, reserve the marination.
  3. Air-fry the chicken wings at 200C for 10 minutes.
  4. Lower the heat to 180C, turn the chicken wings to another side & air-fry for another 10 minutes.
  5. Baste the chicken wings with the marination in between.

- Method (2) - Oven Baked -
  1. Preheat the oven at 200°C.
  2. Place the chicken wings on the baking tray and send into the preheated oven to bake for 30-40 minutes.
  3. Baste the chicken wings with the marination at the final 5 minutes.

  1. We love this fried chicken recipe because it tastes so Malaysian! It goes really well with nasi lemak. Usually I add curry powder into the mix, but because I don't have it tonight, I've used whatever I had in the kitchen and surprisingly, it tastes just as good!
