Stir-Fry Lady Fingers with Anchovies


One of the very simple stir-fry vegetable recipes, it's easy to prepared, quick to cook, & can be ready within 10 minutes, a perfect dish when you don't have much time to cook.


* Step-by-Step Tutorial *

Heat up the wok with oil + sesame oil, fry the anchovies until browned & crispy, transfer to paper tower, set aside.

Using the same oil, stir-fry the the meat for another 2-3 minutes or until cooked.

Add in the lady fingers & half of the anchovies.

Add in the marination prepared earlier, turn to the highest flame & let it turn to a boil.
Turn to the lowest heat & let it simmer for 3-4 minutes.

Dish up & serve. Top with the remaining anchovies.

Ingredients :
10-15 lady fingers, sliced

1-2 tablespoons dried anchovies, soaked & rinsed
100gm meat of your choice, minced or sliced
1 tablespoon oil + 1 teaspoon sesame oil
1 tablespoon light soy sauce
1 tablespoon oyster sauce
1 tablespoon abalone sauce
1 cup water

Directions :
  1. Combine water, light soy sauce, oyster sauce & abalone sauce & set aside.
  2. Heat up the wok with oil + sesame oil, fry the anchovies until browned & crispy, transfer to paper tower, set aside.
  3. Using the same oil, stir-fry the the meat for another 2-3 minutes or until cooked.
  4. Add in the lady fingers & half of the anchovies.
