Honey Garlic Grilled Prawns



Cooking prawns using the air-fryer has never been easier, it was my first time air-frying the prawns & the result was so satisfying, the prawns came out to be the same as grilling, so fragrant & so yummy! 


 You can serve the prawns as it is or top with grated cheese for an additional cheesy flavour, both are equally yummy.



Air-Fryer - Honey Garlic Grilled Prawns

 
Ingredients : 
20 medium prawns
 

- Marinate -
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1 teaspoon sesame oil
Dash of pepper
1 tablespoon honey

1 tablespoon brown sugar
3-4 cloves garlic, finely chopped
- Garnish -
Scallion
Grated cheese
 

Directions :

  1. Marinate the prawns for 30 minutes.
  2. Pre-heat the air-fryer at 200C for 2 minutes.
  3. Place the marinated prawns in the basket lying next to each other, do not overlap; reserve the marination.
  4. Air-fry for 6-7 minutes.
  5. While the prawns are cooking away, heat up the leftover marination on the stove, add in some chopped scallion.
  6. Plate the prawns, drizzle the gravvy over the prawns & top with more chopped scallions.
  7. If you like it cheesy just like me, top with grated cheese & use  a cooking torch to melt the cheese.
  8. Enjoy!!!
